PlayStation Network official Welcome Back package

PlayStation Network users are going back to gaming as usual after the long network shut down nearly a month ago. The Network began restoring service last weekend to N. America, Europe and Australia. The good news is, Sony is offering a welcome back package to all PSN users as a way to say they are sorry for the downtime. So lets just jump to the good part, the goods right? For the next 30 days all PSN users can choose 2 games from the following choices:

  • Dead Nation
  • inFAMOUS
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Super Stardust HD
  • Wipeout HD + Fury
For all PSP users: For the next 30 days you can choose 2 from the following options:
  • LittleBigPLanet(PSP)
  • Mod Nation Racers
  • Pursuit Force
  • Kill Zone Liberation
A selection of movie rental titles will also be available for 'one weekend' only and the dates and title selections will be announced soon. But that's not all, All PSN users will be upgraded to the PlayStation Plus subscription service for 30 days at no charge. For PlayStation Plus users you will receive 60 of free subscription service. What is good about the PlayStation Plus service is that it will allow you to download free content.
Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription. Check the PlayStation Store regularly in the next 30 days beacuse Sony will also be giving away 100 FREE virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag's Alien Casino, an exclusive game.
To grab the free goods, just log on to your PSN and check out the PlayStation Store. The exact content and games available for the PlayStation Plus subscription will vary per country and has not yet been determined. After nearly one month of down time, you would think that as Sony's network was restored they would have had this information available by now. I would advise users to visit the store regularly so you dont miss out again.
